Our Mission

• Promote collaboration between Tanzanians and Americans in the promotion, development and effective management of ethical businesses.
• Make use of the existing infrastructure and network of local level service providers throughout the country, to promote and support all aspects of the development of ethical enterprises.
• Work with existing national level institutions in Tanzania to support ongoing improvements in the climate for business in Tanzania, including business links in Tanzania and America.
• Support the formation and growth of democratic groups and associations of micro and small enterprises (including especially small farms) throughout Tanzania.
• Give top priority to enterprises that yield the greatest good for the largest numbers, especially in terms of improved household and community-level incomes; meet the basic needs of food, water, shelter, health, clothing, education and communication; and protect and promote the rights and well-being of women, children and other vulnerable groups.
