Who We Are

TEDI is a not-for-profit, collaborative effort of church, business and community people in Tanzania and the United States of America, established in 2001 to encourage and support economic development projects that will contribute to a prosperous Tanzanian society through the awakening of our God-given spiritual and material endowments.

We are about

Our Vision

TEDI’s custodians envision a future where:

Tanzanians and Americans in business and other services have forged significant and growing partnerships.

Businesses and other services promoted and supported by TEDI in all corners of Tanzania work with and enable the majority of Tanzanians to improve their lives.

The Christian value of economic justice is combined with practical and viable economic models.
